It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?

aFc is an account maintained by the senior members of deviantart. The goal of aFc is to sell artwork as prints with all the proceeds going to a selected charity: UNICEF.

Valentines Day Contest

`ArtistsForCharity is proud to present a Valentine's Day contest.  Valentine's Day is considered to be a day for love so let us, the deviants of deviantart, show or express what our interpretation of love is.  We will be splitting the pieces up into two different categories, written and visual.  Each category will have a first, second, and third place with the appropriate prizes.  So show us your best

Note: this contest is just being run by `ArtistsForCharity.  The art will not be used as prints on the account.  We would just like to run a contest for you!

The rules:
The piece should be a representation of your interpretation of love (either visual or written).

One submission per person (either one written or one visual, not one of each or multiple in a category)

To submit: submit the piece as a normal piece to deviantART, then note `ArtistsForCharity with the link.  We will then place your piece as a thumb in the `ArtistsForCharity's journal.  Please clarify if the piece is written or visual in your note.

Please do not send links to old deviations out of your gallery.  Create something new.

The contest will close on Friday, February 10th at 8pm EST, and the winners will be announced on February 14th.

Wow, it seems like a really cool competition. I'll give it a go. Artist for Charity is great. Although I do want to ask, can you make a piece that is visual and written? Like for example putting the words on a visual piece.
